Book Club.
Book Club offers students the opportunity to practice reading skills and strategies necessary to build stamina and comprehension while promoting collaboration and teamwork. We practice written and oral comprehension using text evidence to support student thinking.

Additional Information.
Students learn six different "jobs" they rotate weekly. Each job has graphic organizers and support pages in a provided workbook to support each learner. Some examples of jobs are;
Summarizer, Word Definer, Character Analyzer, Connection Creator, and Setting Searcher. These jobs correlate to research-proven strategies for building reading success.
Each session, students will share their notes and observations with a focus on the job they were assigned.
Book Club Fee.
Book Clubs are $200 for eight weeks of instruction.

Google Classroom containing additional activities, extra support, examples, and notes from each meeting.
